It Cosmetics is Coming to Sephora Canada! Review and Swatches

I have tried and love a select few It Cosmetics products in the past, some of them are part of my holy grails, so I was really excited for the opportunity to explore the brand more.

It Cosmetics has really only been available in Canada via The Shopping Network but I am so excited to announce that they are coming to Sephora in August! Now not only is there a new place to order It Cosmetics from online, but there will now finally be somewhere that you can go, in store, and play with the products in person. Yes!

If you’re looking for a product that really does it all then you will love the It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream SPF50 ($38 US/$45 CAD). Ya that’s a mouthful isn’t it! Well that’s for good reason. This product is a moisturizer, an anti-aging treatment, an SPF 50+ sunscreen, and a full coverage foundation all in one. It’s really pretty remarkable. I absolutely love this stuff during the summer because I know I have all my bases covered in a flash.

The formula was developed with plastic surgeons to offer so much more than most products on the market. It not only covers skin issues and imperfections with flawless full coverage but it also treats and protects skin at the same time thanks to SPF 50+ UVA/UVB broad-spectrum physical sunscreen.

It’s enriched with an advanced anti-aging serum that includes hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, vitamins A, B, C and E, and even snail excretion to hydrate, minimize wrinkles, pores and discolouration while nurturing healthy radiant skin.

They have recently expanded their shade range with three new options: Medium-Tan, Rich, and Deep to invite even more beautiful skin tones to enjoy this best-selling product. (See swatches at bottom of post.)

I used to have trouble getting this product to sit right on my skin and then I finally realized that I got much better results when I skipped my moisturizer. I usually would perform my full skincare routine before deciding which foundation to use for the day so now I know that, even though my skin is dry, I can skip my moisturizer and go right to the It Cosmetics CC+ cream. It gives me all the hydration and protection I need and melds more beautifully with my skin.

Another cult favorite is the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer ($24 US/$29 CAD). This is an ultra-pigmented concealer in a squeeze tube. You only need a tiny amount for full coverage. It does a great job of concealing under eye darkness and other imperfections. They have recently expanded the shade range for this product as well adding the new shades Medium-Tan and Warm Deep.

The formula is waterproof to ensure it lasts all day without creasing or cracking. Not only does this concealer hide imperfections like redness, dark circles, hyperpigmentation, broken capillaries, age spots, and more but it also includes skin healthy ingredients like anti-aging peptides, vitamins, hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, and antioxidants to improve the condition of skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles over time.

For fair to light skintones you may find you need to mix both the Light and Medium shades as the concealer shade it Light is VERY light.

There are also loose and pressed Bye Bye Pores™ setting powders from It Cosmetics that do more than just set your makeup. They blur out pores and texture to give skin an airbrushed finish. They mattify the skin without making it look flat.

The Bye Bye Pores™ Poreless Finish Airbrush Powder ($24 US/$ CAD) is an ultra-fine silky loose powder that includes hydrolyzed collagen to smooth the look of wrinkles and texture. It’s also formulated with antioxidants, peptides, and other skin loving ingredients to do so much more than just set your makeup for a shine free, airbrushed finish. The Your Most Beautiful You™ Anti-Aging Matte Bronzer, Radiance Luminizer & Brightening Blush Palette ($38 US/$58 CAD) is going to be on heavy rotation for me this summer. The 3-in-1 face palette has powders of incredible quality. Smooth, silky textures and rich pigmentation. I was actually a little nervous at first that it would be too pigmented for my fair skin but everything applies and blends beautifully and effortlessly. I am very smitten! All the shades are incredibly flattering.

The products in this palette also include hydrolyzed collagen, silk, and peptides in the talc-free formula along with their Drops of Light Technology™ to ensure you are getting more than just beautiful colours and finishes when you apply the blush, bronzer, and highlighter. The Brow Power™ Universal Eyebrow Pencil ($ US/$24 CAD) was a surprise love me. I never thought in a million years that a universal brow product could work for me, but this one does! And it does so beautifully. The brow pencil is firm while still depositing the right amount of colour so you can easily do hair like strokes. The shade is a cool taupe that works perfectly with my fair hair and skin with soft strokes. You could easily build it up for a darker shade for darker hair with firmer strokes.

The award-winning brow pencil formula is infused with brow enhancing biotin, lecithin, saw palmetto, nettle, green tea, antioxidants, grape seed, and vitamins A, B5, C and E, plus proprietary Brow Power™ Technology. Yes all those goodies in a brow pencil! What’s not to love? There is also a spoolie on the other end to blend out and groom your brows after application.

The product from It Cosmetics that I’ve loved for years is their brushes. The are amazing and I recommend them all the time. I’m not usually a fan of synthetic brushes but these ones are uber soft while still picking up and depositing products effectively. They make blending a dream.

The Heavenly Luxe™ Wand Ball Powder Brush #8 ($ US/$58 CAD) is pretty much the only setting powder brush I use. It is so fluffy and soft and I never have to worry about it disrupting my foundation underneath. I highly recommend this brush!

The Heavenly Luxe™ Complexion Perfection Brush #7 ($48 US/$58 CAD) is the perfect tool to have on hand for applying your foundation and concealer for an airbrushed finish. Super soft and perfectly sculpted for the job.

The Heavenly Luxe™ Complexion Perfection Brush #7 ($24 US/$29 CAD) is a double ended concealer brush with capped ends for easy storage and portability. Deposit the product easily in any area with the flat brush then blend/buff to an airbrushed finish with the fluffy end.

I also have had the Heavenly Luxe™ French Boutique Blush Brush #4 ($34.50 US/$44 CAD) for years (not shown) and it is one of my all-time favorite blush brushes!
