The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette ($49 US) is actually my first Too Faced Chocolate palette. I know! I know! How have I possibly resisted so long? Sheer will I tell you. And the fact I have 8 bazillion eyeshadows. Well let me tell you, my experience with the newest instalment in the Chocolate Bar Eye Shadow Collection has that will power crumbling. This palette is absolutely stunning!
This may be one of the cutest palettes in my collection. Pink and adorned with hearts it screams girly decadence. Even the eye shadow pans are heart shaped. I mean come on! Can you even deal with such cuteness? Add in the formula infused with antioxidant-rich cocoa powder, that gives off the most delectable chocolate scent, and you can’t help but fall in love.
The palette is very well rounded. There is a nice assortment of finishes ranging from matte to full on metallic glory. The shades are a stunning mix of both cool and warm neutrals with a couple fun pops of colour. It is incredibly versatile. I also love that they included an extra large pan of a matte base shade. There really is no need to reach for any other shadows when using this palette which is a huge plus for me. Often I find I at least need to dig out a matte crease shade or all over base shade to add into a look when using an eyeshadow palette. If the beautiful shades weren’t inspiration enough, the palette includes a Glamour Guide to inspire you with three beauty looks.
The 16 shades include 14 brand new shades as well as 2 cult favourites. Shade descriptions are mine so of course up for debate.

I’m really pleased with the performance of the shadows in this palette. They have a creamy, easy to blend texture that isn’t powdery. I didn’t experience any issues with fallout. The shadows are, for the most part, highly pigmented. The few that fall into the more good pigmentation vs excellent pigmentation category are still easy to work with and build up with ease on the eye. I have created two full looks with this palette utilizing almost all of the shades and they lasted the entire day for me until I washed them off in the evening. (Stay tuned for look posts!) I can easily see this becoming a go to palette for me as it is just as suited to created every day looks as it is to creating stunning night out creations.
The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette launches at TooFaced.com on December 8th, 2015. I’m not sure if it will launch the same day at Sephora or a bit later. I will update when I know more.
