This week the Beauty Blogger Top Ten Team is sharing our recommendations for Top 10 Foundations. Of course I had to select my favorite foundation formulas, offering a variety of coverage levels, that have options for pale skin tones in my Top 10 Foundations for Fair Skin.

- Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate in 10 Ivory Light – It is not often I come across a foundation shade that is too pale for me so if you are super pale you will love Re(marc)able in Ivory Light. This is such an incredible FULL coverage foundation that looks like healthy luminous skin. See my full Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able review.
- MAKE UP FOR EVER Face & Body Liquid Makeup in #38 Pink Porcelain – This has been one of my favourite foundations for years. This unique gel texture foundations offers sheer coverage with a beautiful dewy and water resistant finish. This is one of my favourite summer foundations and one of the first foundations I discovered years ago that offered a great shade match. I also absolutely love the smell for some weird reason.
- Too Faced Born This Way Absolute Perfection Foundation in Snow and Pearl – Too Faced recently added to new shades to their new Born This Way foundation range including 2 new options for fair skin. I have the shade Porcelain which is a bit too dark for me. I think my shade is likely Snow. Right now my favorite foundation is a mix of my Too Faced Born This Way foundation in Porcelain with a bit of the too light for me Marc Jacobs Remark)able in Ivory Light. It is perfection!
- Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup in Shade 1.0 – I’m not sure why I am hanging onto a pretty much empty bottle of this foundation. Oh ya… because I adore it! Anyone else do that? Resist using the last teeny bit because you can’t bare for it to be gone. This is on of my favourite everyday medium coverage foundations with a very natural finish. There is also a Shade 0.5 available but I opted for the more yellow toned 1.0 to cancel out redness as I didn’t find it to be noticeably darker than 0.5. If I didn’t have so many foundations on the go I would repurchase this for sure.
- MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation in R230 (equivalent to old shade 115) – I think this is one of the best everyday foundations out there. It offers medium coverage with such a lovely and natural looking finish. It is a go to for me and I greatly prefer it to the old HD formula. Full Ultra HD review here.
- Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup in 1N1 Ivory Nude – This foundation has been a cult favorite for years for good reason. It offers incredible coverage that lasts ALL day. 1N1 the perfect pale neutral shade. I do have to ensure I mix it with a luminizer in order to prevent it from looking too drying on my skin.
- MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation in R230 – This is such a great foundation. I am excited to have found a stick foundation that offers exceptional coverage while looking dewy and radiant on my dry skin. It is so easy to work with as well.
- Clarins Everlasting Foundation in Ivory 103 – This is a medium to full coverage foundation with a flattering soft matte finish that surprised me by looking good even on my dry skin. It has great lasting power as well. Ivory 103 is a wee bit dark for me in an ideal world but it works.
- Burberry Cashmere Fluid Foundation in Porcelain – This new foundation from Burberry offers medium to full coverage with a gorgeous satin matte finish that looks beautiful even on my dry skin. Porcelain is too dark for me but workable when I mix it with a pale illuminator or foundation. Review here.
- Dior Diorskin Star Studio Makeup Spectacular Brightening Weightless Perfection Foundation in 010 – This foundation has such a lovely finish and offers medium to full coverage. Shade 010 is a touch too dark for me but still an excellent offering for fair skin.

Yes there are three different MAKE UP FOR EVER foundations in this roundup. Why? Because when it comes to foundation they do it right. The formulas are exceptional and they have such a huge shade range available. My shade isn’t even the lightest they offer. I could have actually included four MUFE foundations in this feature as I left out another one of my faves, the MAKE UP FOR EVER Lift Foundation. A beautiful foundation that I don’t hear enough about.
In case you were wondering, my favorite method of applying almost all of my foundations is with the Beauty Blender. There is no substitute!
