Available for free on iPhone and Android. Users can barcode scan a product or search through the database of more than 120,000 products for reviews, looks, alternatives (think DUPES!) and more. You can also create your own beauty profile and follow me to get all of my beauty advice right from your mobile phone.
Pretty in my Pocket has partnered with Plum Alley to run a crowd-funding project that will help them grow. They have asked me to help spread the word. Read below to learn more about the project.
“The purpose of our Plum Alley project is to significantly grow our user base to improve your overall experience on the app! Not only will our users benefit from the increase in user-generated reviews and looks, they will also receive exclusive Perks offered by our potential brand partners.
Today, PRIMP is live in the marketplace with over 50,000 subscribers. Even though we are 50,000 women strong, our audience is not big enough for brands to offer Perks (coupons, deluxe samples, and gifts with purchase.) We need critical mass and we need you. We also encourage every user to share their opinions and post their makeup looks to help the community make better beauty purchases. As our user base increases, the more reviews and looks will be available to you.
We have spent the bulk of our resources on the product – creating, developing, and perfecting the free app and the patent pending technology. We now seek the funding necessary to grow our audience. Help us grow!”
