Did you know that Urban Decay has a global initiative to empower women? It’s called Ultraviolet Edge.
Urban Decay has always stood for the empowerment of women—from the products we create to the causes we support. The Ultraviolet Edge, our global initiative to empower women, helps fund organizations that fight for the rights of women everywhere. Pooling together the money raised gives us the flexibility to support a variety of organizations that are doing incredible things to empower women. Since launching The Ultraviolet Edge in 2015, we have donated $1.28 million to women’s empowerment nonprofits. In 2017, our goal is to donate another $1 million; this puts us well on our way to our five-year goal of $3 million.
If helping women’s rights is important to you then there is a great way you can support both the cause and your beauty habit. Urban Decay has released a new limited edition, neutral shade of Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion ($26 CAD) in the shade Fix. 100% of the purchase price will be women’s empowerment nonprofits selected by The Ultraviolet Edge. You read that right, 100% of the PURCHASE PRICE, not just the profits.
Now of course, while supplies last, you have to pick up Fix, but Urban Decay has also released two new shades of Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Freebase and Caffeine and rereleased the popular shade Sin.
- Fix – neutral beige
- Freebase – opaque white matte
- Caffeine – rich warm brown matte
- Sin – pink-champagne shimmer
If you are in the market for a new eyeshadow primer then why not support women’s rights with 100% of your purchase price of the new Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Fix! The shade works as a great base on a variety of skin tones and helps neutralize discolouration and redness on the lids.
I’m so excited to try the rest of the new shades as well and, oh my goodness, where has Sin been all my life?
