Ever wished you had a pencil that you could use on your brows, eyes, and lips? A pencil with a formula that created for use on all areas of the face?
Well the new MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil ($18 USD/$23 CAD) is exactly that. Brings the monochromatic look to a whole new level doesn’t it? (There are some shades not recommended for use around the eyes.)
The MAKE UP FOR EVER Artist Color Pencil comes in a rainbow of 39 matte shades. Yes all of the shades are matte. They have a firm, somewhat dry, yet still creamy formula.
You won’t get opaque color payoff in a single swipe, but these pencils do have great pigmentation, and easily build up to full color.
These pencils are not designed to be waterproof nor budgeproof. They are formulated to be blendable and layerable. They apply with precision yet apply and blend with ease. Depending on what you are looking for this will either be a benefit or a drawback.

Will you be picking up any of these pencils? There are some really lovely soft shades for lips that I’m loving! Being fair, I often find lip liners run dark so these are welcome additions to my stash!
