The Lise Watier Spring 2015 Expression Collection is all about encouraging women to unleash their creativity and individuality. The packaging is is fun and spontaneous featuring colourful and abstract art.
The star product in the collection is the limited edition Palette Expression ($42 CAD) eyeshadow palette. There are 5 shades of Lise Watier’s beautiful cream-powder shadow formula in shades that are soft and vibrant at the same time. The finishes range from semi-matte to iridescent.
The pigmentation is a little softer than what I am used to from Lise Watier’s shadows but it is designed that way to give the desired effect. I didn’t think I was going to like this palette until I wore it on my eyes and the shades came to life. I was amazed that these soft shades had such and impact on my skin and they applied with intensity with no primer and lasted the entire day without fading. The packaging is really sturdy with the graphic design revealed beneath clear plastic. My compact was very difficult to open for some reason.
The limited edition Expression Blush Trio ($38 CAD) includes three shades with a subtle iridescent finish.
On the far left of the palette is a brown toned shade that can be used to contour the cheekbone. The center Rose shade is perfect for the apples of the cheeks. The Orange shade looks lovely on the temples to brighten up the face. My personal favourite way to wear this palette is to swirl all of the shades together.
The limited edition Nail Lacquer ($13.50 CAD) in Expression is a juicy soft coral orange that will be perfect for spring and summer. I can’t wait to get it on my toes for summer!
The spring collection brings a new limited edition shade of Rouge Gourmand Velours ($22 CAD) lipstick called Expression. The Rouge Gourmand Velours lipsticks are a matte lipstick with hydrating jojoba oil. They have amazing pigment and a light dry texture. (Dry feeling not drying.)
Expression is a stunning deep berry pink with subtle shimmer.
Ombre Soufflé Suprême ($24 CAD) in Fairy Pink is a new regular product being introduced with the collection. I LOVE these long lasting cream/powder/mousse eyeshadows. They have a beautiful luminous finish and great pigmentation. They feel so silky smooth to the touch and on the lid and contain Lise Watier’s exclusive Labrador Tea extract which is a powerful antioxidant.
Fairy Pink is a stunning iridescent cool toned pink.
The Féline Eyeliner HD ($20 CAD) has been repackaged and also adds the new shade Vert to the existing Noir and Brun. The applicator is a soft high-precision felt tip.
Vert is a deep teal leaning green that is vibrantly pigmented and this liner won’t budge!
There is a new regular shade of Eye Shine ($20) eyeliner in Expression. I love these creamy and pigmented pencils because they are so long wearing and have a stunning shimmering finish.
Expression is a charcoal shade with a subtle hint of khaki (at least to my eyes).
Anything catching your eye from this collection? The collection will be available at Lise Watier counters and online at LiseWatier.com (Canada and US!) in February 2015. Limited edition products will be available until April 2015 while supplies last.
