When I first saw the promo images for the Too Faced Chocolate Gold Collection I was instantly smitten. Everything looked so stunning. The eyeshadow palette is what really sucked me in. So freaking beautiful. I have the full collection to share with you today, with the exception of the Chocolate Gold Bronzer.
The Too Faced Chocolate Gold Metallic/Matte Eye Shadow Palette ($49 US/$59 CAD) is breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous! I am so thrilled with this palette.
I adore Too Faced palettes because they always include every shade you need to create a full eye look. There is never any need to reach for other shadows. The Chocolate Gold palettes is no exception. Even though this palette is all about high impact metallic shadows they still managed to include a large pan of a matte nude base shade, along with two matte brown shades for the crease, and a matte black for added impact. This is a completely rounded palette. That is something I always appreciate so much.
The packaging with it’s dipped in melted gold effect is so beautiful and fun and all of the shadows are richly pigmented. This palette is heavenly. Oh and of course it smells incredible given it’s infused with 100% natural cocoa powder. The foiled metallic shadows are even infused with real gold. What?!
The new Too Faced Glitter Pop Peel-Off Eyeliner ($20 US/$24 CAD) is a product that I at first thought sounded utterly ridiculous and I now realize it’s pretty genius. The liners are full impact glitter. The shades are beautiful.

At first I questioned if they would actually work. They do indeed work. They take a fair amount of time to dry but once they do they are set in place and they can indeed be peeled off. Pretty cool!
Because the glitter is “trapped” in this peel off base it resists glitter fallout. Now that said it can be kinda tricky to get a hold of, and peel off, liner that you’ve applied as closely as possible to your lash line. At least without accidentally grabbing some eyelashes along the way. I still really like these though. I’m surprised by just how much use I’ve been getting out of glitter liners these day. They really do add such a fun touch to so many looks.
If you really want to fully embrace the gold in this collection then the Too Faced Melted Gold Liquified Gold Lip Gloss ($21 US ) and Too Faced Pure Gold Ultra-Fine Face & Body Glitter Infused with Real Gold ($17 US) are the way to go.
The Melted Gold Liquified Gold Lip Gloss is infused with real gold and offers impactful gold goodness. The more you build it up, the more it shines. The unique glitter formula amplifies depending on the lighting. I find it has a kind of coppery base/shift too it that makes it look even more interesting than a straight up gold. I don’t know if this is something I would actually wear, but if you like this kinda thing then it’s beautiful and very unique.
The Too Faced Pure Gold is fabulously packaged. This loose gold glitter has a flip up lid above the sifter. So nice! This high impact sparkling gold glitter can be used anywhere. Face, eyes, lips, body, you name it. It is really, really gorgeous.
The Too Faced Diamond Light Highlighter ($34 US) is SO CUTE! It’s packaged like a precious jewelry box. Makes perfect sense given this highlighter was inspired by a diamond ring that founder Jerrod received from Jeremy on their 20th anniversary. This highlighter is infused with real diamond powder and has shades of blue, pink, and gold. It’s formulated to give the perfect radiance to any skin tone. Mine unfortunately arrived broken, which is why you’ll see powder on the inside of the lid.
It is so, so dang pretty! It applies mostly as a cool pearl tone with a subtle pink tone. It has a very subtle iridescence. It’s truly lovely and I think this will make a delightful gift.
