The Butter London Spring 2013 Sweetie Shop Nail Lacquer Collection ($17 individually/$85 complete set) is an absolutely beautiful and well named collection. I can’t think of a better way of describing these gorgeous pastels than the candy tones of a sweet shop! This collection is truly the embodiment of spring. I thought it only fitting to photograph it on a fresh dusting of snow. I am so ready for Spring!

Kerfuffle – Opaque pink coral crème nail lacquer.
Fruit Machine – Opaque punchy carnation crème nail lacquer.
Molly Coddled – Opaque lavender orchid crème nail lacquer.

Cuppa – This gorgeous toasted opaque tan crème is both your perfect neutral lacquer and statement maker in one!
Jasper -Opaque bright pastel yellow crème nail lacquer.
Fiver – Opaque icy mint crème nail lacquer.
These all apply beautifully and are fully opaque in 2 coats. I had some concerns over the sheerness of Fiver on the first coat but the second coat evened it out perfectly. Kerfuffle, Fruit Machine, and Molly Coddled are all perfect. Amazing with the amount of corals, pinks, and purples in my collection I had nothing similar. Cuppa was a little more stark of a nude than I expected but it still works fairly nicely with my skintone. Jasper is a beautiful yellow. I’m happy to have a yellow in my collection I love. Fiver is every bit as gorgeous as I’d hoped. I can’t wait to start wearing this in the spring! I may not be able to wait that long.
I ordered these direct from ButterLondon.ca.
