I know I am guilty of this myself, but trust me, Pür Minerals is not a brand you want to ignore. The new fall 2015 releases from Pür Minerals include some really beautiful products and the limited edition Love Your Selfie Kit ($39 US/$49 CAD) is a must have so let’s begin with it.
Love Your Selfie is a kit that includes everything you need for eyes, cheeks, and lips for a picture perfect look that will take you from day to night. It is packaged in a magnetic closure sturdy white cardboard palette with reflective silver accents.
The kit contains eight limited edition eye shadow shades and the formula is absolutely outstanding. These are so creamy and INTENSE on pigment. They are an absolute dream. The eight shades (.04 oz ea) are:
- Exposure (vanilla matte)
- Fade (sandy peachy brown matte)
- Filter (rose gold shimmer)
- Photobomb (dark plum shimmer with black flecks)
- Flash (champagne shimmer)
- Capture (taupe matte)
- Sepia (milk chocolate matte)
- Closeup (muted black matte)
I mean just look at these swatches!
For cheeks the kit contains:
- Mineral Glow Bronzer (.08 oz)
- Savvy Blush (.08 oz)
- Afterglow Illuminating Powder (.08 oz)
I was concerned at first whether the bronzer was a shade that would work for me but I am so happy I tried it on because it is gorgeous. It has no orange tones at all and manages to refrain from looking muddy on my fair skin. The subtle glow is so youthful. The Savvy blush is the perfect shade of pink to suit any complexion and has a lovely satin matte finish. The Afterglow Illuminating Powder is everything I ask for in a highlighter. A subtle radiant glow without noticeable shimmer or glitter. It is infused with their age defying Ceretin Complex to diffuse the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and imperfections over time. So much love for this kit! The formula on these face powders is every bit as exceptional as the eyeshadows. This kit has me wanting to further explore the Pür Minerals brand more.
You will also find in the kit their #1 selling mascara, Big Look Mascara in Black (.12 oz) as well as the Chateau Kisses Lip Plumping Lip Gloss in Exposed (.14 oz) that contains grape seed extract to fight fine lines. The shade is a beautiful softly shimmering pinky brown nude.
Fall also brings the introduction of the Pür Minerals Air Perfection CC Cushion Foundation ($43 US/$49 CAD). This foundation has an incredibly light, whipped texture and is dispensed through a revolutionary liquid-dispensing cushion. It is very easy to apply and blend and offers light coverage to naturally even out your complexion. The foundation includes 10ml already in the compact along with another 10ml refill pack.
The compact is a gorgeous iridescent white.
The upper tier holds the applicator sponge under the mirrored lid and beneath you will find the dispensing cushion below a flip away lid to seal and protect the foundation.
The formula is full of beneficial ingredients to offer the benefits of skincare.
- Brazilian Babussu Oil to hydrate for a dewy, soft complexion.
- Vitamin E an antioxidant.
- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) to soothe visible irritation.
- Sodium Hyaluronate to hydrate and plump.
- Mango Seed Oil to moisturize, soothe, and protect.
- Sea Buckthorn Oil for anti-aging amino acids and vitamins.
You can also apply the Air Perfection CC Cushion Foundation with the new Pür Minerals Liquid Chisel Brush ($23 US/$26 CAD) which has a mix of natural and synthetic hairs.
The shade light is fairly light but darkens slightly on my skin. The sheerer coverage level makes it quite forgiving. You can see how natural and skin like the finish is on this foundation just from the swatch. I found my skin did seem to “eat” this foundation up throughout the day. The compact is very handy for touchups though and given the skincare benefits I could see why me skin would be hungry for it. 😉
