If you haven’t heard me talk about PRIMP yet then I will give you a quick refresher. Pretty in My Pocket is and AMAZING smartphone app that allows you to look up product reviews while your out shopping. To make it even easier you can look up those reviews by simply scanning the bar code on the product. It will bring up product reviews as well as looks featuring the product from the beautiful makeup artists and beauty bloggers who make up PRIMP’s team of Power Primpers and Makeup Mavens. If you haven’t guessed already…I am partnered with the mobile beauty app Pretty in my Pocket as a Makeup Maven. I think PRIMP is such and incredible tool because it gives you quick and easy access to the reviews and looks of multiple beauty experts, and beauty lovers like yourself, all in one location. I don’t know about you but this is a dream come true for me. I will never buy anything without checking reviews first. While having my iPhone made it possible to access the web on the go it was always a pain standing in the aisle or counter trying to google multiple sources for reviews. PRIMP has made it simple and so much fun.
Now on to the really great news! Starting Friday, July 12, 2013 PRIMP has partnered with L’Oreal Paris to launch their in-store launch of mobile beauty Perks at select NYC locations. All Perks are location based and can be scanned right from your phone at the cash register. You can download the app here. You can go to select stores in Manhattan (they are starting one city at a time) to redeem exclusive L’Oreal Paris Perks starting July 12th, 2013. Now, I know that most of you live outside of the NYC area. But, I wanted you to know what you have to look forward to. PRIMP will be rolling out these perks to more cities and with more brands by the Fall!
L’Oreal Paris sent me some products and I will be revealing the Looks I created with the products they sent so stay tuned. Now remember I mentioned that using PRIMP you not only get to search reviews (and now Perks) but there are also looks linked to the products. That is the beauty of PRIMP. Find products you like, check for reviews, see looks created using those products, and now recreate those looks yourself for less using the Perks coupons!
On the day of the launch I will reveal the exact L’Oreal Perks and the Looks I created with the products as well as the link to the full list of participating NYC stores.
