Lise Watier Spring 2014 Imagine Collection is a collection inspired by dreams and romanticiscm.

Two of the products in the collection come in this gorgeous compact depicting a breathtaking sunset view.

The limited edition Quatour Imagine Eyeshadow Quartet ($36 CAD) has a mix of cool and warm spring shades inspired but the delicate colours of the sky. They have a lovely light pearly finish. The ivory, pink, and charcoal have a nice level of pigmentation. The blue is a bit more sheer but can be layered for more coverage. All the shadows are smooth and apply nicely. As a cohesive look these four shades are a little tricky to work with. If the colour palette seems a little scary you can always incorporate one or two of the shades into a look with other shadows in your collection. I really love how the blue looks on my lower lash line.

The limited edition Imagine Blush ($32 CAD) is a mosaic of pink tones with a satin finish and it is super pigmented! It’s a gorgeous pink blush and who can resist the packaging.

The Quad Les Mats Quatuor Eyeshadow Quartet ($33 CAD) enters the regular line as the quintessential nude matte palette. You can work this palette for anything from a soft natural look to a full on smoky eye. The shadows have nice pigmentation and blend and work well with one another. The shades are Pure White, Pink Copper, Iron Grey, and Anthracite Black.

Lise Watier makes some of my favourite eyeliner and the Waterproof Eyeliner in Smokey Grey ($20 CAD) is being added to the list. It’s a gorgeous shade of purple toned grey with shimmer in a wonderful creamy and long lasting formula.

The lip products in this collection were a bit of a let down for me. I am usually a huge fan of the Lise Watier lipsticks and lip glosses so this was certainly a departure from my normal experiences with Lise Watier.

First there is the Haute Lumiere High Shine Lip Gloss in Crystal ($23 CAD). Actually I don’t really have anything bad to say about this because the Haute Lumiere lipgloss formula is a wonderful formula. It is non sticky, hydrating, and comfortable to wear. I’m just not a fan of clear lip glosses.
The Duo Glam Rouge Infini Lipstick Duo in Tender Pink Glam ($27 CAD) didn’t work out for me. The liquid lip stain has a very watery texture so it applies with very little pigment. You are supposed to apply the lip stain first and then let it set for a minute before applying the lipstick. The pastel pink lipstick applied with a really chalky look on my lips so I wasn’t a fan. I can see the very high pigment, opaque coverage of this formula working great in another shade though. The pastel pink is just not for me.

The new limited edition Magic Lip Colour Enhancer ($22 CAD) is a balm that reacts with your lip’s PH to create your own shade of pink. For some reason this formula barely gave any hint of pink at all for me. Usually these PH changing formulas tend to go a very intense pink on me. The paraben free and preservative free formula with wild mango butter makes a really great lip balm though and makes my lips feel protected and hydrated.
