A few weeks ago I shared with you the beautiful Lancôme Summer 2014 Golden Riviera Collection. At the time I didn’t have the showstopper of the collection, the limited edition Golden Riviera Collection Star Bronzer ($52 CAD), to show you but now I have her in all her glory.
The bronzer has the iconic Lancôme rose embossed on it’s surface and is glowing with shimmering gold overspray. This is just overspray and once swept away you are left with a gorgeous satin matte finish.
I had raved about how amazingly soft and HUGE the partnering Star Bronzer Brush ($58 CAD) released with the collection was. Well the brush is the perfect size for this incredibly generously sized bronzer. There is a whopping 30g of product which makes it three times the size of most bronzers. Here it is beside the Guerlain Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder (10g) to give you an idea how impressive this compact is. I really can’t believe this bronzer is only $52!
Here she is with her overspray removed. The Golden Riviera Star Bronzer is the perfect shade. It is a warm bronze with the right amount of redness to give a natural looking sun kissed glow. No orange tones and no muddiness. I was really impressed with how incredibly natural this looks on my fair skin and it has become my new go to bronzer. Something I don’t usually expect of a “one shade fits all” bronzer release.
The powder formula is so soft, smooth, and creamy. There is no powdery mess or chalkiness. It melds with the skin for a naturally luminous colour.
Get the limited edition Lancôme Golden Riviera Star Bronzer while you still can. I highly recommend it. It’s available online still at TheBay.com or check your local counters.
