The Spring/Summer 2014 releases from Estée Lauder are full of great new products that are sure to become new favourites for many a beauty lover.
Firstly we have their recently launched new line of lipsticks. The Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick ($34 CAD) was formulated to offer women what they want most in a lipstick. Intense, high-impact pigments, multifaceted dimension, lightweight creamy texture that intensely hydrates thanks to the Time Release Encapsulated Moisture Complex with Hyaluronic Acid, and sleek, stylish, magnetic closure packaging.
There are 20 shades available. I have the stunning and impactful shade Defiant Coral.
Part of the always anticipated Bronze Goddess Summer 2014 Collection is the limited edition Pure Color LipShine ($26 CAD) in Mandarin. The formula is very moisturizing thanks to the Mango Butter and Shea Butter. The twist up crayon offers easy application and beautiful sheer colour with discreet shine.
The limited edition Bronze Goddess Shimmer Body Oil ($45 CAD/50ml) is a silky and lightweight emollient oil with gorgeous golden shimmer. It is infused with the Bronze Goddess fragrance which is a sexy, beachy blend of Bergamot and Mandarin, cooled with Tahitian Gardenia Petals and Coconut, warmed with Amber, Sandalwood and Vetiver. Not only is it like summer in a bottle it is just plain fun to look at!
The new Double Wear Stay-in-Place Brow Lift Duo ($32.50 CAD) is brow perfection. It has the wind up micro tip that I love most for a brow pencil. You can do precise feather hair like strokes without ever needing to sharpen. Even better this dual ended pencil has a shimmering highlighter shade to highlight under the brow to lift the eyes. It also works beautifully in the inner corner of the eye as well as the lower waterline. It is not promoted for use on the waterline but my eyes haven’t experienced any ill effects of doing so. The shade shown is Rich Brown (obviously not my shade) but I can tell you the formula is smooth and long wearing without showing you how silly I look in this colour! It is also available in Black Brown, Soft Brown, and Blond Brown.
