The Spring 2014 Dior Trianon Collection brings us two new limited edition Dior Addict Lip Glosses ($31 CAD).
442 Petillante is a sheer soft peach with very fine micro shimmer in pale gold, and irridescent pink with hints of blue and purple. It doesn’t offer much colour to the lips but rather an absolutely stunning delicate shimmer and high gloss effect. It is lovely worn alone and also works as a great lipstick topper shade.
772 Exquise is a shimmerless fuchsia with medium pigmentation and a translucent finish. It offers a nice amount of colour and can be worn quite sheerly for a hint of pink or built up to a bit bolder hit of pink. Don’t build it up too much or you risk it travelling into lip lines. This is a great gloss to wear solo but also a lovely compliment to any deeper pink lipstick like Rouge Dior in Allegresse from the same collection.
The Dior Addict Gloss formula is very lightweight and comfortable to wear with no stickiness. I only get a couple hours wear time out of them but the lovely shades and ease of wear make these luxe glosses a favourite of many. While I’m not usually a fan of brush applicators for lip gloss the short and firm design of the Addict Glosses makes application effortless.
These Dior Addict Gloss gloss shades for spring will be available January 15th, 2014 at Dior Counters nationwide and Sephora.
