Be still my pastel loving heart. The Dior Vernis 301 Bleuette from the Dior Glowing Gardens Spring 2016 Collection is breathtaking. It is such a stunning pastel blue with a slight aqua tinge.
It is a cream finish that has an undetectable hidden shimmer that gives it’s finish just a little something special. It gives complete, opaque coverage in two coats. It applies like a dream. Especially with the fabulous wide tapered brush the Dior Vernis polishes have.
I know many of you are wondering how this shade compares to last spring’s Porcelaine. You will be happy to know it is quite different. Porcelain was a true cool pastel blue while Bleuette has a hint of green for a slightly aqua leaning pastel blue.
Here are some other similar shades swatched to give you a better idea of the shade. Left to right we have:
- Dior 204 Porcelaine
- Chanel Riva
- Dior 301 Bleuette
- Essie Blossom Dandy
I have been wearing Bleuette for 2 days now with zero chips. That is a miracle for me! I can’t stop looking at my nails. I am in love with this shade and it is sure to become a staple spring and summer polish for me. Do you think you’ll be picking it up?
