I received some products from a company called Billion Dollar Brows out of Los Angeles. They promote themselves as the only cosmetics company dedicated exclusively to brows. They have an assortment of tools, colored brow products, and even conditioning products. I am going to review the Brow Powder and Universal Brow Pencil for you today.
The Brow Powder ($16) comes in four shades; Blonde, Light Brown, Taupe, and Raven. I was disappointed there was no auburn or red shade but the Light Brown shade is recommended for warm blondes and redheads. The shade is indeed a soft, warm brown so it works fairly well with red hair although not as well as my holy grail Strawburn shade from Anastasia. The powder is an excellent formula. It applies softly with just the right amount of pigment and lasted well for me through the day with minimal fading.

Our brow powders go on smooth and natural, giving your brows a brilliant sheen of color. Every shade has been rigorously tested at our Beverly Hills salon to ensure absolute quality and color accuracy.
INGREDIENTS: Talc, Zinc Stearate, Boron Nitride, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Mineral Oil/ Huile minérale (Paraffinum Liquidum), Methicone, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, May contain/Peut contenir : Titanium Dioxide (CI77891), Ultramarine (CI 77007) , Iron Oxides (CI 77492, CI 77499, CI 77491)

The Universal Brow Pencil ($14.95) didn’t work out as well for me as the brow powder. The formula is really lovely, as with the brow powder, but the shade and size of the pencil just weren’t a good fit for me. One thing I’m sure many will like is the lack of warmth in this brow pencil. It is a nice taupe brown and I know finding brow products that don’t pull to warm can be an issue for many. As a redhead however this meant the universal shade looked rather unflattering on me. I had thought once I switched to a cooler blonde that I would welcome the ash tones in this pencil but I then found it to be too dark. I tried a really light feathery application but with the larger width pencil tip I found it too difficult to achieve a subtle effect. I have become quite addicted to the really fine tipped brow pencils I have been using lately. They are a better fit for my sparse, small brows. I think for those with dark blonde to dark brown and black hair this pencil will be a great fit. It just doesn’t work as “universally” for those with really light or warm shades of hair. I do love that this pencil comes with a spoolie on the end for grooming your brows.

No More Guessing Games! Formulated to work with all skin tones & hair colors this amazing pencil goes on smooth and natural. Perfect for creating beautiful, natural brows for when you’re on-the-go. The pencil’s versatile color works with almost all hair colors and skin tones.
