I am absolutely loving the packaging of the new Maybelline Total Temptation Collection. The peachy blush hue contrasted with black is so modern yet pretty. Well done Maybelline! I especially love the soft touch feel of the mascara tube.
The Maybelline Total Temptation Shadow + Highlight Palette offers a beautiful mix of both warm and cool shades. I am not generally a fan of drugstore eyeshadows but this palette is pretty good. The mattes in particular are lovely. They are so creamy and easy to blend. The only shade I wasn’t a fan of was the second shade down on the right. The shimmering lilac shade has fleck glitter than I’m just not a fan of and the pigmentation on this particular shade was pretty sheer. The other shadows were very nicely pigmented, including the black! The highlighters are a little glittery for my taste but the champagne is quite lovely. The lilac highlighter I think is best suited for use on the eyes as it does have quite a bit of colour to it. The formula across the palette is quite soft so there is a lot of powder kick up.
I am really loving the Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara. Maybelline makes some great mascaras and this one doesn’t disappoint.
It’s the kind of mascara formula I prefer. A natural (not silicone) brush with a formula that offers both length and impressive volume. The formula gives fabulous volume without getting too clumpy. There is still a nice amount of definition.
There is also a new Maybelline Total Temptation Brow Definer. It has a beautiful geometric design that makes it easy to apply with both hair like strokes or fill in with more thickness. There is also a spoolie on the end for grooming the brows. The shade I received was Deep Brown so I was unable to really put it to the test.
Below are swatches of the palette on bare skin applied with a finger in natural light. The mascara is swatched with two coats.
Are you excited to try another new mascara formula from Maybelline?
