Oh YSL. How your packaging pleases me. In particular the Rouge Volupte packaging is exquisite. I can’t think of any lipstick packaging more detailed and stunning. The new Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks are bestowed with this same amazing packaging. This lipsticks promote luscious texture and an aqua shine effect. Another amazing formula I am now hooked on.
These lipsticks have a sheer, translucent finish yet they build to a nice amount of pigment. They have a luscious glossy sheen and the ultra fine shimmer infused throughout gives lips a beautiful glow. The texture is very light and it melts onto your lips with a very moisturizing feel. The formula contains two times more soft waxes than traditional lipsticks (less hard wax). These lipsticks contain an array of skincare benefits as well to create not only beautiful lips but healthy, moisturized lips. There is Hyaluronic acid, pomegranate and rice extracts, and emollients. They have the same yummy Mango scent of many YSL lip products.
There are 19 shades in the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Shine lineup and 9 Nude in Private is classified as part of the coral group. When I first saw it in the tube I thought it was more of a brown nude but on the lips there is are a hints of pink and coral. It is an amazing go with everything colour that I am sure I will get a lot of use out of. It is soft enough to wear with stronger eye looks yet has enough colour to not look washed out with a more natural look.
