I can’t believe it. We are already at the beginning of Week 3 in my skincare journey testing out the latest skincare launch from Lise Watier. Every Tuesday, for four weeks, I am giving you a look at my progress testing the new Lise Watier Sublimessence High Concentration Age-Defying Serum ($84 CAD). For an introduction to this new product please visit my Week 1 post. You can find a more in-depth look at Lise Watier’s exclusive antioxidant, Labrador Tea Extract, in my Week 2 post. As I sit here in my nice cozy sweater sipping on my hot herbal tea I can’t help but be excited for Fall. I really enjoyed this summer but I am ready for that fabulous chill in the air. I love everything about fall. One of my favourite things about fall is the fashion. It’s finally time to start layering clothing again. Speaking of layering. I thought it might be nice for this weeks post to talk about the versatility of Sublimessence and how well it layers into your routine.
Not only is it a highly concentrated serum, but you can also use Sublimessence as a compliment to your existing serum. Because it utilizes an Active Cell Infusion Complex to boost the efficacy and absorption of actives it can also be used before your favorite as an essence. Essences are one of the hottest trends in the skincare industry right now. These super charged liquids or lightweight serums are usually chock full of actives and aid in increasing the effectiveness of the skincare that follows it. The Lise Watier Active Cell Complex certainly makes Sublimessence an effective skincare essence to add to your routine. This is how I have been using the product. I usually have quite a lengthy skincare regime so I welcomed the added step and thanks to it’s quick absorption it hasn’t really added any extra time to my routine.
So how have I been fairing testing out Sublimessence? Well entering Week 3 I am very pleased with the results. My skin continues to look brighter and refreshed. There is an overall softening in both texture and the appearance of fine lines. I am loving glow my skin has. I have high hopes of seeing that glow stick around once the colder, drier weather hits. One of my top beauty tips when cold weather hits is to put a humidifier in your bedroom. Dry, parched skin not only looks very aging but it also accelerates the aging process. By drenching the skin with hydrating and age-defying products like Sublimessence, and then sleeping in a well humidified room, you will wake up to fresh, plump, younger looking skin. Your throat and lungs will probably feel a lot happier too. I know the dry and artificially heated air wreaks havoc on my throat and lungs, especially with my asthma.
