Petite Heat. I love that name so much! Apparently I’m easily amused by adorable rhymes. The Urban Decay Naked Petite Heat Palette ($29 US/$36 CAD) is the latest edition to the Urban Decay Naked lineup and she is lovely. I adore these smaller Naked palettes because, at half the size, they still manage to offer the full range of shades you need to create a complete eye look. Nude base colour shades, mid tone mattes for the crease, and deeper shades for contour and definition.
I love my Naked Basics Palettes as I find they work beautifully on their own and they are also the perfect compliment to pull out when you have those eyeshadow palettes that have fun and beautiful shadows but lack some of the basics for creating a full look like a matte crease shade or all over base or brow bone colour. This new Petite Heat functions in the same fashion but in a much warmer colour palette than Naked Basics and Naked2 Basics.
The six shades in the palette are:
All six shades in this palette are unique to the palette. They are not repeats from the Naked Heat Palette. What I was especially surprised and delighted by was the fact that all the shades in the palette don’t pull super warm. Wild Thing and Heist will add an impactful amount of warmth to a look but the other 4 shades in the palette could be used in a nice variety of eye looks.
Are you going to pick up Petite Heat? I think it’s a beautiful compliment to the Naked Heat palette and it’s a great palette for anyone who enjoys warm nude shadows.
