Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder for Face and Body in Lit ($30 US/$35 CAD) is described as a soft bronze shimmer with golden bronze sparkle.
It comes in a beautiful sparkling bronze box. I love this packaging! It is so pretty, albeit a little bulky.
The domed powder is on the top level with a mirror on the inside of the lid.
The lower compartment hides a mini brush. Everything secures with magnetic closures.
The powder has a dry feel but has a good level of pigmentation and applies smoothly.
It is such a gorgeous universal bronze shade that looks lovely even on my fair skin. I am absolutely loving this shade to bronze up and give a subtle glow and shimmer to the shoulders and collarbone. It also works beautifully as a subtle bronzer if you like a bit of shimmer and glow to your bronzer. This particular shade doesn’t function as a highlighter on my fair skin as it is too deep, (and I prefer my highlighters to be glitter free), but if you have a bit deeper skin tone and aren’t opposed to a bit more obvious shimmer in your highlights then you will likely love Lit. For me I am loving this for the body.
If you are a bit more opposed to more obvious glitter/shimmer in your face powders then you will be happy to know that once you tap off your brush and blend in the powder you can eliminate most of the more obvious glitter particles. What remains is a luminous healthy bronze sheen.
Have you tried any of the Urban Decay Naked Illuminated powders? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. I had always assumed they would be too glittery for me but I was impressed with how I could easily blend away the excess shimmer in Lit.
