I have a Spring/Summer 2014 collection to share with your from brand that is to to me. Trind was founded in 1988 in the Netherlands.
Burst my Bubble is a bubblegum pink crème. Formula is a touch thick but applied well and was even after two coats. This is such a pretty pink.
Miss O’Hara is a fuchsia red crème. It actually has almost a jelly transparent quality to it. It was the thinnest formula in the collection and the best in my opinion. It applied flawlessly.
Mellow Yellow is a yellow crème had the thickest formula and was the most troublesome to apply. It is still a touch uneven after two coats but not that noticeable. This is such a great shade of yellow that I find it work the little bit of extra effort. It can be tough to find a yellow with nice opacity sometimes and Mellow Yellow delivers.
Appletini is a green crème with hidden golden micro shimmer. It is probably my favourite in this collection. It is such a fun shade of green and the micro shimmer offers such a beautiful touch. The formula is pretty thick on this one as well but with care you can get a nice even application in two coats.
Mint Julep is described as a teal crème. Beautiful shade and the formula on this one was lovely and opaque in two coats.
Surf’s Up is a blue pearl. The formula was nice and thin on this one. I found it tried to pool in spots on my nails for some reason but with two coats the coverage was even. Such a beautiful shade for spring and summer.
The Trind Caring Color brush is on the long side as is the handle. I thought I wouldn’t like that but I found it actually worked very well. While overall the formula overall certainly wasn’t one of the best I’ve used the colours offered in this collection are all perfect. It is just such a bright and lively breath of fresh air and a versatile well rounded collection for spring and summer.
The Trind Spring/Summer 2014 Collection is available at www.nailpolishcanada.com and www.spaboutique.ca and is $13 CAD per bottle.
