Today the Beauty Blogger Top Ten team is sharing our Favorite Primers. I decided to include both eye and face primers. I’ve been lemming a lot of face primers lately so I can’t wait to see everyone’s picks!

For eyes:
Too Faced Shadow Insurance – This has been my holy grail eyeshadow primer for years and I don’t see it changing. I love that this gives my eyeshadows more vibrancy and lasting power while being very easy to blend over. I find some eyeshadow primers, who shall remain nameless, to have a tacky finish that makes blending more difficult than necessary.
Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue – This product is a must for glittery shadows or loose glitter and loose eyeshadows. The products you apply on top adhere beautifully and last all day without fallout. I find the squeeze tube cream much easier to apply and deal with than a lot of other glitter adhesives on the market.
MAC Painterly Paint Pot – Since there isn’t much coverage or color correction with the TFSI I often use MAC Painterly as well. It gives the most beautiful canvas for any shadows and conceals any redness or unevenness on my lids. I adore this product and have gone through many pots in both my pro kit and personal stash.
For face:
MAKE UP FOR EVER Step 1 Skin Equalizer Nourishing Primer – I have dry skin so I usually tend to go with a hydrating primer. I find this one works very well and cooperates with any foundation I pair it with. This is probably the most frequently used primer in my collection.
MAKE UP FOR EVER Step 1 Skin Equalizer Radiant Primer (Pink and Blue) – I find both the pink and blue versions work great for my skin. If you aren’t sure which to pick, choose the blue if you have more red in your skin and the pink if you have more yellow.
Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Instant Soft-Focus Beauty Flash – This is the most recent addition to my primer arsenal. I have the travel kit size. I really love the hydrating properties and beautiful, natural golden glow it gives.
Dermalogica Redness Relief Primer SPF20 – This primer is really a workhorse. It offers pore/skin smoothing, color correction of redness, and SPF protection!
NARS Pro-Prime Light Optimizing Primer SPF 15 – This is favorite of mine. I love the natural radiant glow it gives my dry skin. The SPF is an added bonus.
Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional – I don’t have much of an issue with enlarged pores but I do use this to spot treat some trouble areas on my chin and nose area when I want my makeup to look extra perfect. It is also a staple in my pro kit. My clients always love the smell which is funny because I don’t really consider it to be overly scented. It just smells good!
Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base – Yes another radiant primer! I have dry skin so hydration and glow are my main goals when it comes to choosing a primer. This pink toned version is absolutely beautiful and really creates a beautiful base for my makeup application.
I have a bit of a primer wishlist at the moment including the BECCA Backlight Priming Filter and Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer.
