OK. OK. I cheated. This is actually 12 products. But I didn’t think it was worth it not posting the complete collections for the sake of an accurate 10 count. So now that my slight breaking the rules of Beauty Blogger Top Ten Tuesday is addressed lets get to my Top 10 12 Halloween Products for Nails.
OPI Peanuts Limited Edition Collection for Halloween 2014. How fun! A collection celebrating the fun, youthful nature of Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus and Snoopy just in time for Halloween. All shades perform brilliantly. The black and yellow shades are opaque in 2 coats. The glitter shades are concentrated enough that only one coat is necessary as a top coat and can be worn alone with only 2-3 coats.
The Peanuts by OPI includes the following shades ($11.50 CAD ea):
- WHO ARE YOU CALLING BOSSY?!? This stormy black is no match for Lucy’s raven hair.
- Good Grief! The sunny yellow of Charlie Brown’s favorite t-shirt.
- To Be or Not To Beagle Snoopy’s happy-dance of colors in a joyful glitter.
- Where’s My Blanket??? Linus awaits the Great Pumpkin in this orange and black glitter.
You can also get the four shades in a Little Peanuts Mini Pack ($17.50 CAD) which also includes ten nail decals ranging from popular Peanuts phrases like “Good Grief!” and “Pow!” to sketches of Snoopy and the signature squiggle of Charlie Brown’s shirt.
Swatches shown are two coats of all four polishes. Glitters swatched as top coats are one coat. No clear top coat used.

The Insta-Dri Halloween Collection includes shades of white, black and orange perfect for creating all kinds of halloween nail art looks. The formula is the fast drying and I was really impressed with the opaque finish of the all the colours. Shades are:
- OMGhost – White Cream

- Pumpkin Queen – Orange Cream (says it’s a matte finish but it is more satin)
The Sally Hansen Special Effects Fuzzy Coat Halloween Collection ($7.95 CAD ea) includes two spooky shades that can be worn alone or over a base shade. It has a 3D texture effect gives any nail look a multidimensional finish. The two Halloween-inspired shades are:
- Witch-ful Thinking (Shown)
- Fur-ankenstein (Not shown)
Swatches shown are two coats of insta-dri polishes, 3 coats of Fuzzy Coat, and two coats of Fuzzy Coat as top coat. No clear top coat used.
