I think I’d have to say that this is my favorite Stila product that I’ve tried to date. The Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye & Cheek Palette ($39 US/$51 CAD) is a palette of 5 eyeshadows and 2 blushes that is available in four shade combinations to suit a variety of skintones. I saw all of the shade offerings at the summer preview event and they are all beautiful. The available shades are:
- Fair/Light
- Light/Medium
- Medium/Tan
- Tan/Deep
The shade I received to test is Light/Medium. I think ideally I would be the Fair/Light shade, but this Light/Medium palette is absolutely stunning and works beautifully on my fair skin as well.
The shades included in the Light/Medium palette are:
- Artistic (matte base)
- Dazzling (pearl highlight)
- Ambitious (shimmer lid)
- Spontaneous (matte crease)
- Mischievous (matte liner)
- Charming (matte blush)
- Angelic (matte blush)
There are so many things to love about this palette. Firstly it contains five eyeshadows in a variety of shades and finishes that truly give you everything you need for a full eye look. So many eyeshadow palettes lack a good matte base shade, or a highlight, or a matte crease colour etc. They really covered all the bases here and the colour payoff is amazing. Then you have two beautiful blush shades. One a bright, cheerful shade and one a more subdued, natural hue. It is packaged in a square, slim compact with no excess bulk or room taken up with useless applicators, and there is a full size mirror inside. It is the perfect travel companion. Angelic was broken in my palette so I had to press it back into the pan. You can just barely see that this shade is engraved with Stila.
Are you loving the look of these palettes? I think I’m going to have to try to get my hands on the Fair/Light version. This palette is just so good! I also happen to think the price point is pretty great.
