I think an area where Benefit Cosmetics really excels is with their complexion products. I thought it might be fun to show you a step by step progression of creating a “Hello Flawless” complexion with Benefit Cosmetics products.
To begin, the dreaded beauty blogger sacrifice of a naked face shot:

Next we see how dramatic a change the application of Benefit The POREfessional Pro Balm Primer ($36 CAD) and Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup ($44 CAD) Foundation in I’m Pure for Sure Ivory makes. I have been wearing this combo a lot lately as it offers a great match, great coverage, and a lovely natural finish on my dry skin.

Next I used the FakeUp Concealer ($29 CAD) in 01 Light under my eyes and the Boing Concealer ($26 CAD) in 01 (01 and 02 shown below) to conceal some of the redness on my chin and around my nose as well as some of my darker hyper pigmentation. Set the products with the Hello Flawless Powder ($42 CAD) in I Love Me Ivory.

Once the skin is perfected we have to admit that sometimes we look a little dead. We need to bring back in some contours to the face as well as colour. I have used the Hoola Bronzer ($36 CAD) to contour my face and warm up my skin a little. I can’t believe I hadn’t tried this product before. It is a great bronzer that isn’t orange or muddy and works great on fair skin because it isn’t too dark. It’s matte but the powder is soft and creamy. Love. I added a little colour to my cheeks with Dandelion Brightening Face Powder ($36 CAD) which is the prettiest soft pink and beautiful on pale skin. A touch of High Beam Highlighter ($32 CAD) on high points of the face finishes the complexion.

Ta da. A lovely even and perfected canvas that still looks natural. Apply the eye look and lip product of your choice and your ready to face the world.
