shu uemura Satin Matte Lipsticks have a wonderfully light, creamy formula. Not the usual dry texture you expect from a matte lipstick. Well shu uemura has released a new version of their Rouge Unlimited Lipstick. The shu uemura Rouge Unlimited Satin Matte. It has the lovely shu uemura matte formula we love with the addition of micro fine pearl shimmer to give the lips an elegant dimension. The Spring 2014 Bijoux Collection includes two shades of this new formula. Pink Opal and Beige Topaz. I have Beige Topaz to introduce you to.
shu uemura describes Beige Topaz as a beige-orange but I don’t find it orange at all. I see it as more of a pinky peach beige.
It has the lovely light yet creamy texture that I love and the combination of matte with fine pearl gives a unique effect. I didn’t think I was going to like it at first. I was thinking the whole idea was kind of confused. Either be matte or be a shimmer. Make up your mind! But the look is really neat and I am sold. I will show you how it looks in the context of a whole look with an upcoming face of the day post featuring some yet to be reviewed products.
The shu uemura Spring 2014 Bijoux Collection is limited edition and became available as of January 2014 at Holt Renfrew, select Sephora and Hudson’s Bay locations and at www.shuuemura.ca.
