Please see my first Rouge Bunny Rouge product review of Original Skin Blush in Starina for more information on the brand. For more information on the Long-Lasting Eye Shadow – When Birds are Singing please refer to my first review of their eye shadows Bejewelled Skylark.
Abyssinian Catbird is described as a Metallic Bronze with Golden Highlights. This is an accurate description but I think that it deserves the mention of the khaki green tones I see present in this shade as well. Maybe when they mentioned the golden highlights they were thinking along the terms of antiqued gold. Abyssinian Catbird has got to be THE MOST PIGMENTED eye shadow I’ve ever used. I certainly can’t think of anything that beats it on this front. The other Rouge Bunny Rouge shades I’ve tried are also very well pigmented but this one borders on insane. I happen to love my shadows to be very pigmented and it’s one of my top criteria when it comes to my opinion of a product. So pigmentation aside this is also a very beautiful and unique colour. There have been questions about how this eye shadow compares to Edward Bess Intimate and Le Metier de Beaute Chameleon which will be addressed in coming days.
I purchased all my Rouge Bunny Rouge items from Zuneta. They have amazing customer service and I’m so pleased with their brand offerings and service.
