Take the guesswork out of matching the perfect concealer to your foundation with the new Revlon ColorStay 2-in-1 Compact Makeup & Concealer. This cream foundation and concealer duo is available in twelve shade combinations and offers flawless coverage in a long lasting, satin matte finish.

When I first looked at the shade Ivory 110 in the compact I was concerned it would be too dark. I was relieved to discover that the Revlon ColorStay 2-in-1 Compact Makeup & Concealer actually applies lighter than it looks in the pan, and doesn’t oxidize, which is such a refreshing change.

When first looking at the packaging you may think there is a small round concealer section with a larger, crescent shaped section for the foundation. The concealer is actually a layer above the foundation, and it flips up to reveal a full, large round pan of cream foundation.

The bottom layer of the compact houses an included sponge and mirror. Given the foundation comes with a sponge, it is no surprise that I found a sponge to be the best method of applying the foundation. The included black sponge is shaped in a way that allows you to more precisely apply it to areas like under the eyes, as well as quickly apply to larger areas. I used my own sponge to apply, opting to keep the included sponge clean for touchups on the go, which this packaging setup is perfect for.

The Revlon ColorStay 2-in-1 Compact Makeup & Concealer foundation is very creamy and applies beautifully with a sponge to effortlessly give full coverage. If you want to achieve a more medium coverage level then you must take care to pick up only a small amount of foundation on your sponge as a little goes a long way. The concealer is a bit firmer consistency than the foundation, and I found it to offer nice coverage with a brightening effect.
This foundation is excellent for building, layering, and manipulating making it very versatile. I was amazed that after I did the half face before and after photo below, I was easily able to apply the foundation to the rest of my face and blend it all together seamlessly. It never caked or resisted extra manipulation, even after a good amount of time had passed. The foundation stays creamy and never sets to a fully dry finish, so it can transfer if you rub your face or touch your clothing, so I like to lightly set it with a powder. Even given the comfortable and hydrating feel the foundation offers, it still lasted the entire day for me without migrating or noticeably fading.
Behold the crazy haired mugshot below that dramatically demonstrates the amazing coverage and beautiful finish the Revlon ColorStay 2-in-1 Compact Makeup & Concealer offers. It truly gives you a flawless complexion.

Below is a look showcasing the Revlon ColorStay 2-in-1 Compact Makeup & Concealer applied with a lighter hand, for more medium coverage, and featuring the new Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor in Devotion. These are beautiful gel formula liquid lipsticks that dry to a matte finish, but not that crazy drying finish you will find in a lot of matte liquid lipsticks of late. They are very comfortable and still offer long wear with only minimal transfer.
