The PUREOLOGY Strength Cure line is specially designed for damaged hair from colour treatments or heat and mechanical damage. It is formulated with Asta-Repair which is is Keravis, Ceramide and Arginine to help replace the depleted cystine content inside the cortex, while also healing the micro-scarred cuticle to smooth and soften the hair. It will heal, strengthen and even protect from colour oxidation. The formula also features Astaxanthin which is a powerful nature-derived antioxidant. PUREOLOGY’s Antifade Complex is also included which uses UV Filters, Heliogenol, and Vitamins C & E for colour retention.
They claim 97% Improved Hair Strength After Only 1 Use of the Strength Cure Shampoo, Condition, and Split End Salve. While that may be a bit of a lofty claim the products do make my extremely damaged and fine hair feel softer and stronger. What I really love is that the products are sulphate free the ingredients are 100% vegan. I know the line is gentle to my hair meaning my semi permanent colours will last longer and my damaged hair will improve with use.

I really enjoy the results I achieve from these products but haven’t been using them regularly as I am not a fan of the scent. I’m not sure how to describe it. Maybe a sweet fruity floral. It’s not a bad scent, I can see most people liking it, but for some reason it bothers me. You can find PUREOLOGY at a professional salon near you.
