I’ve got some new pretties from Pür to share with you today for Summer 2017.
First up are some new complexion products. The Pür No Filter Blurring Photography Primer ($33 US) is a primer that moisturizes, illuminates, colour balances, and primes the skin. It comes in a dropper bottle and has a fluid lotion texture. It is full of ultra fine yellow gold shimmer. It’s a beautiful refined shimmer that leaves the skin glowing and radiant rather than shimmery. I am absolutely LOVING this.
The Pür Bare it All 12 Hour 4-in-1 Skin Perfecting Foundation ($39 US) is a medium to full coverage foundation with a demi-matte finish. It gives great coverage and I find the coverage is a bit more natural to dewy than demi-matte. It doesn’t dry completely down so it retains a bit of tackiness and is very comfortable on my dry skin. I did have a little bit of migration into my laugh lines but that’s it. Otherwise it held up beautifully and the finish was incredibly flattering.
The Pür Skin Perfecting Foundation Brush ($28 US) is a dream. It is very similar to the Artis brushes. I have the Artis Oval 10 brush which is ginormous. The Pür brush is the perfect size for foundation and, while not as dense as the Artis brush, is still excellent quality and performs beautifully. Even with the thicker consistency of the Bare it All foundation it still blended it into my skin effortlessly. I’m excited to start using this on the regular now.
The Pür Chrome Glaze Gloss ($18 CAD) is a phenomenal gloss formula. Just how I like it. Very pigmented and no need to layer a lipstick underneath. It has a very glossy finish and isn’t sticky. I may have to try more shades of this! Smarty Pants is a pretty peach shade.
The Pür Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick has a light mousse texture that is applies with ease. I was able to do a full application without dipping back into the tube. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I’m not a big matte liquid lipstick fan. But this formula is quite comfortable. I didn’t feel like my lips felt any drier after several hours of wear than they did when I first applied. I did get some fading on the interior of my lips after a couple hours. The colour Ever After is absolutely stunning. It’s described as a pinky mauve but on my fair skin it comes off quite vampy.
