NARS is delighting all us pink lovers with this exclusively pink limited edition collection. The Final Cut collection includes four matte (yay matte!) Blushes ($33 CAD ea), four Satin Lip Pencils ($30 CAD ea), and an Illuminator ($36 CAD).
There are four shade groupings for the blush and lip pencils:
Sex Fantasy Blush and Stourhead Satin Lip Pencil are a pale lavender pink.
New Attitude Blush and Villa Lante Satin Lip Pencil are cherry blossom pink.
Final Cut Blush and Torres del Paine Satin Lip Pencil are peach coral.
Love Blush and Descanso Satin Lip Pencil are tea rose.

The Adelaide Illuminator is a gorgeous bright sparkling lavender pink.
The standouts in this collection for me are the blushes. The shades are a fabulous matte formula that have a beautiful finish on the skin with no chalkiness. They shades are soft and flattering. I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am NARS opted for a matte finish with these. I can’t get enough of these shades and they are sure to become part of my regular rotation of blushes.
The Satin Lip Pencils go on with a lovely light creamy feel and glossy sheen but I found them to be pretty drying both in terms of the lipstick itself drying out on my lips and losing it’s glossiness and creaminess, as well as it drying out my lips. My lips aren’t in the best condition right now though so that may be effecting my opinion of these pencils.
This is my first experience with a NARS Illuminator. I must say this formula is impressive. It blends in to the skin easily and wow do these last. I forgot I had this on my arm and it was still going strong the next day when I hopped into the shower. It required a good deal of scrubbing to get off as I wasn’t prepared with makeup remover. I certainly feel the need to explore the NARS Illuminators more however Adelaide is not suitable for me. I found it far too glittery for my preference but if you love a sparkly highlighter you are going to love the gorgeous pink glow that Adelaide gives.
This collection will be available exclusively at Holt Renfrew NARS counters in January 2014 as well as Nordstrom in the US and Selfridges in the UK.
