NARS is releasing another Fall 2016 Collection. The NARS Audacious Collection is a small collection that features five new shades of the amazing Audacious Lipstick, new limited edition NARS Unrestricted Eyeliner Stylos, along with a new Brow Defining Cream. The collection also re-promotes the NARS Audacious Mascara.
The NARS Audacious Lipstick formula is one of the best cream lipstick formulas out there so any shade additions are always an exciting event in my eyes. They offer fully opaque, rich vibrant colour with an incredibly lightweight feel and glossy finish.
The new NARS Audacious Lipstick ($39 CAD/$32 US) shades are:
- Apoline – pink rose
- Shirley – red crimson
- Stefania – deep fuchsia (not shown)
- Kate – purple orchid (not shown)
- Mona – mahogany
The NARS Unrestricted Eyeliner Stylos ($34 CAD/$27 US) are a felt tip applicator liquid liner. They can create a fine to thick line depending on the pressure you apply. The shades in this collection are both black. One with a matte finish, and the other with a satin, shiny finish.
- Black Panther – Matte – black matte
- Black Panther – Satin – shiny black
My Matte one was quite sheer/watery so I’m not sure if they are all like that or there was just an issue with mine. The Satin version was bold, black, and intense.
The new NARS Brow Defining Cream ($29 CAD/$23 US) is, as you would expect from the name, a very creamy brow product. I actually really, really like working with this formula. I worried the light, creamy texture would be trickier to work with compared to a more traditional drier gel formula but it was absolutely beautiful to work with. The available shades are:
- Sonoran – blonde
- El Djouf – light brown
- Tanami – auburn
- Danakil – dark brown
Shown is the shade Sonoran which is a warm blonde. I am loving this formula so I hope they expand the shade range to include a cooler shade of blonde/taupe!
