The new Maybelline Color Jolt Intense Lip Paints ($9.99 CAD). These lipsticks are intended to offer an intense 8x the pigment in a small amount of product. You really do need the smallest amount for full lip coverage. They are a similar formula to the Too Faced Melted Liquified Lipsticks. While they are more affordable than the Too Faced version, they also only contain a little more than half the amount of product, so you aren’t really saving as much money as you may think when you look at price/ml. I do love the more petite size of the Maybelline version though. I can’t see using a full lip product anytime soon so, having less product, at a more affordable price, is a plus in my opinion.

There are 8 shades available:
- Stripped Down
- Never Bare
- Fight Me Fuchsia
- Orange Outburst
- Talk Back Red
- Red-dy or Not
- Berry Naughty
- Violet Rebel
I have the shades Stripped Down, Berry Naughty, and Red-dy or Not.
Stripped Down is an absolutely gorgeous nude pink cream. I am loving this shade so much. It is certain to become a go to for me.
Berry Naughty and Red-dy or Not are both beautiful bold hues. The deep berry and true red offer full intense colour with such a lightweight feel. I found they had a bit more of a sheen to them than Stripped Down. I do recommend a lip liner with these more vibrant shades.

The squeeze tube allows you to easily control the amount of product you dispense out to the flocked angle tip applicator.

I am loving this new formula. I find the creamy formula a little trickier to wear for deeper, bolder shade, but I love it for nudes to mid-tone colours. They are comfortable, long wearing, and the pigmentation and subtle sheen are stunning. I will always choose a formula like this over a matte, long wear, liquid lipstick.
