This week the Makeup Wars team is sharing our favourite fall manicure. I actually have many favourites this season. When it first comes time to switch from fun and vibrant shades like pink and coral I experience a bit of sadness. But it doesn’t take me long to get excited about the darker and vampier shades of fall. I have been really loving the shade Alcatraz… Rocks from the OPI San Francisco Collection for Fall 2013.
I love the OPI Liquid Sand polishes. The contrast of a matte with sparkling glitter create such a unique and interesting effect. Even better you can just add a top coat for a more traditional glossy finish with complex glitter. Alcatraz Rocks has a beautiful way of shifting from deep purple, to navy, to charcoal grey depending on the lighting.
With topcoat (this is one coat. You can use multiple coats of topcoat to eliminate the textured finish):
