I am completely blown away with the MAC Robert Lee Morris Collection. The collaboration with contemporary jeweller Robert Lee Morris features stunning packaging that is a work of art. The antiqued gold and matte black packaging in unique and modern shapes are like nothing I’ve ever seen in the beauty industry. The pieces in this collection will make such an impressive holiday gift. What was even more impressive is that each piece is unique. The finish varies from item to item making each even more unique.
The collection goes so far beyond the stunning packaging. Every shade and formula is impeccable as well. I love each and every one. That does not happen often for me with a collection!
The collection includes:
MAC Mattene Lipstick ($25 US/$29 CAD) in 6 shades. I’ve never tried the Mattene lipstick formula before and I am really impressed! I was thinking they’d be more matte but they are super creamy and apply so smoothly. The pigmentation is effortlessly opaque and they have a lovely sheen to them. All six shades are beautiful! They are all cream finishes with the exception of Concord Grape.
The packaging on the powders is really exquisite. It’s an oval clamshell shape. The interior is more polished gold and there is a hinged cover above the powder with a mirror on the underside.
MAC Pro Longwear Powder/Pressed ($45 US/$53 CAD) in 3 shades:
MAC Powder Blush ($39 US/$45 CAD) in 3 shades. These blushes have such a smooth creamy texture and amazing pigmentation. Peach and Rhubarb have a shimmering finish, while Linda is more of a satin shimmer.
MAC 135 Large Flat Powder Brush ($55 US/$67 CAD) – featuring a flat metal handle with leather wrap detailing.
MAC 168 Large Angled Contour Brush ($45 US/$54 CAD) – featuring a sleek metal handle.
The collection also includes a MAC Brush Roll ($125 US/$150 CAD) not shown that includes:
and a Small Mirror Compact ($20 US/$25 CAD).
The collection launches in North America at selected MAC locations tomorrow, November 2nd, 2017.
Will you be picking anything up from the collection? For a gift or for yourself?
