I’m a luxury beauty lover at heart but, for whatever reason, I don’t usually get too wrapped up in luxury body care. My kids, hubby, and I all use the same basic body lotion that we’ve used for years and I’m quite content with it. It’s quick, easy, and doesn’t interfere with my fragrance selection of the day. Well I have become infatuated with a new line of body care from LIERAC PARIS and I have no regrets. The formulas are so much richer and nourishing than I’m used to, yet they still apply easily when I’m in a rush. I know it sounds silly, but often lush body butters etc. require more working into the skin. I was surprised to discover that even the LIERAC PARIS Cream in a tub works into the skin effortlessly yet provides such intense results. They Body-Hydra Lotion and Cream also happen to feel like silk on the skin. SO luxurious.
If you are looking for a body slimming treatment the LIERAC PARIS Body-Slim Triple Action ($60 CAD/200 ml) is a lovely option. It has the light cream-gel texture that most body slimming treatment seem to have. It is a very refreshing cream with a light scent and a cooling and firming sensation. The formula includes 0.5% Peptide cell messenger + 2% WTB SYSTEM (LIERAC patent pending) + 10% active caffeine complex + White Willow extract + Menthol + Soft focus. All these actives work together to hydrate, firm, and smooth the skin. Using the recommended massaging application methods will enhance the cellulite busting and slimming effects. I haven’t used this, (or any), slimming products long term and consistency to speak to the results but the formula is lovely.
The two products I’ve become obsessed with and have been using almost daily are the LIERAC PARIS Body-Hydra+ Hydro-Plumping Lotion ($33 CAD/200ml) and Body-Hydra+ Nutri-Plumping Cream ($40 CAD/200ml). These products have a beautiful light floral scent and the most decadent, silky texture. It is the combination of the instant and effective hydration I experience with the heavenly FEEL of the Body-Hydra+ products that have me so hooked.
Body-Slim, Body-Hydra+ Cream and Lotion
They both feature the LIERAC Hydra-plumping complex with double hyaluronic acid to plump and hydrate the skin on two levels. One with a higher molecular weight for immediate surface hydrating and the other, which is gradually released, for deep down, long-lasting plumping action. The formulas also include a restructuring organic silicon derivative and smoothing hibiscus extract.
I alternate between the two products depending on how thirsty my skin feels that day. The Hydra-Plumping Lotion is a little lighter and fresher and forms a mesh on the surface with its bi-gel formulation. For more intense results I opt for the Nutri-Plumping Cream with it’s richer formula and mesh of protective waxes it offers the skin.
