I love the Fresh brand. Their Rose Face Mask is one of my favorite masks, and the Sugar Lip Polish is an essential part of my beauty routine. I always get excited when I see new Fresh products popping up in the Sephora What’s New section.
The latest launches from Fresh do not disappoint. I normally don’t post exterior packaging pics but Fresh’s packaging is just so beautiful I had to include a shot. The embossed texture makes the boxes even more lovely.
The new Fresh Sugar Cream Lip Treatments ($24 US/$28 CAD) are a beautiful hybrid of lip treatment and cosmetics. The creamy formula imparts a good amount of pigment on the lips and the shades have a lovely iridescence to give your lips a plumping effect and glowing finish. Being part of the Sugar Lip Treatment range they are enriched with sugar, which is a natural humectant, along with antioxidant vitamins E and C. A blend of moisturizing oils further smooths and soothes the lips. It really is the best of both worlds. The soft shimmer and colour of a lip gloss with the nourishing benefits of a lip treatment. They have a beautiful non-sticky, cushiony texture that leaves lips looking, and feeling fabulous for hours.
There are three shades available. Buff, Blush, and Pink. Shown are Pink and Buff.
Another new launch from Fresh that merges the benefits of skincare with makeup is the new Fresh FreshFace Instant Glow Luminizer ($38 US/$59 CAD).
This is my new obsession! This product is amazing. It is a very nourishing and hydrating moisturizer while remaining lightweight. It has incredibly, incredibly fine microshimmer that is completely undetectable on the skin as shimmer but gives the skin the most amazing luminous glow. It’s so beautiful. It is said this can also be used on top of makeup as a luminizer but I haven’t tried that out, as I consider it more like a moisturizer/primer for use prior to makeup. I’m not sure if it really extends the wear of my makeup when worn as a primer but I’ve been happy using it without an additional primer.
The formula is enriched with meadowfoam seed oil and soothing cucumber extract to moisturizer. It also includes Vitamins C and E to brighten and soften the skin. Evening primrose root extract further smooths the skin. Initially I was using my regular moisturizer before applying the FreshFace Instant Glow Luminizer because I assumed my dry skin would need more hydration. I quickly realized that it gave my skin all the moisture it needed and my skin stays hydrated all day. All with a glow that continues to give my skin radiance even through my foundation. No more dull, drab complexion. I think I will be repurchasing this for sure. The only drawback is it’s rather pricey at $59 for only 30ml.
The new Fresh Soy Face Cleansing Milk ($38 US/$45 CAD) is a delightful, silky cream cleanser that has become part of my daily cleansing ritual. I use it after I remove my makeup with cleansing oil. Fresh suggests using it as the first step in a double cleansing ritual (followed by a foaming cleanser), or on it’s own. The gentle cream cleanser is enriched with amino-acid rich soy proteins and white hibiscus flower extract. It’s designed to dissolve makeup, oils, and everyday buildup while leaving skin soft and soothed.
