The latest skincare item I have been testing is the Pure Radiance Night Cream ($19.99 50 ml/1.7. FL.OZ.) from Lumene’s Vitamin C+ line. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Lumene they are a line produced and manufactured in Finland. They use wild ingredients, hand-picked in the Arctic. Why the Arctic? Well they feel it is an environment that naturally grows plants with intensely concentrated, nourishing strength due to their short growth period.
The main ingredient of focus in the Pure Radiance Night Cream is Arctic Cloudberry. Cloudberry is a rare berry that grows in the arctic bogs.
Natural radiance & detox for brighter skin! Fresh and soft cream deep-nourishes and balances the skin’s functions during the night.
The plant sterols contained in the seed oil of arctic cloudberry help to restore the well-being of the skin’s natural protective layer. The detox properties of cloudberry nectar help to make the skin look brighter and more radiant. Ideal for women especially 25+ who are in the middle of the “rush years”. Ideal for normal to dry skin.
Paraben-free
Synthetic colorant-free: the colour of the cream comes from cloudberry.
Product contains over 80 % natural ingredients.
It comes packaged in a heavy deep blue glass jar with a sculptured orange plastic lid. While I always prefer pump packaging over a jar I did find the look of this so fun.
My dry skin (yes dry even through the summer) has really been enjoying this rich moisturizer. It is definitely a night cream as it does leave a bit of a greasy residue but on days I haven’t been wearing makeup I have been reaching for it in the morning as well. I have been enjoying the way my skin feels nourished, hydrated, and more radiant.
It has a very light fragrance that I found very pleasant. I’m not the best at picking out scents but it almost smells like a sort of tangerine scent.
Lumene is available at CVS, Sears, Dermstore, Ulta, Target, Drugstore.com, Walgreens, Giant Eagle, Wegmens, meijer, and Duane Read stores.
