I couldn’t wait to show you this exquisite palette. I am so blown away by the Lise Watier Palette India ($42 CAD) for Summer 2013. I think I must have some subconscious aversion to round themes in makeup packaging as I had a preconception in my mind that I was going to be let down by this palette. Well that is certainly not the case. I am captivated by the extraordinary grouping of shades and the sheer volume of possibilities this palette offers.
The palette contains the most unusual and fantastic combination of colours. There is:
- Deep shimmering purple.
- Deep blue with a hint of green making it almost a deep teal
- Beautiful, neutral sand shade with lots of shimmer and shine
- An almost matte bubblegum pink
- Pale copper with an almost metallic finish.
- Warm gold with an almost metallic finish.
All of the shades are rich in pigment and very creamy and smooth. They are supposed to be a half powder/half cream powder. This definitely comes across in the wonderful texture of these shadows. I experienced a very minor amount of creasing but nothing that would really be noticeable. They wear all day with great vibrancy. My absolute favourite thing about this palette, aside from the outstanding quality of the formula of course, is the shade combination. There are just so many ways you can combine these 6 shades for an endless array of gorgeous looks. I have been having so much fun playing with this palette. For the price I think this is a product you do not want to miss out on.
