Le Metier de Beaute is promoting five of their permanent shades of lipstick in gorgeous hues of pink for the spring season. I introduced you to them with this post. Today I have two of those shades to share with you; Cannes and Fiji.
I first introduced you to Le Metier de Beaute’s Color Core Moisture Stain lipstick with my review of Ibiza.
A unique combination of vibrant color lip stain and healthful moisturizer in one. Creates that coveted “just-bitten” natural flush of a lip-stain, while the unique emollient-rich, hydrating, moisture-stain formula delivers essential replenishment and voluptuous full coverage color to lips. It’s non-cracking and long-wearing, with the lasting power of color stain, and won’t bleed or feather into fine lines around the lips. Lip-loving moisturizers include jojoba, lanolin and shea butter to keep lips soft and supple—for a velvety lip texture, with a silky finish.
The formula of Cannes and Fiji is in line with my previous revives of Ibiza. I somewhat dry feeling constancy that offer great longevity and is very comfortable on the lips. I like that the texture allows the lipstick to not travel all over the lips and adheres well for long lasting colour. The formula may not feel like what you would expect from a moisturizing formula but it does indeed leave my lips feeling healthy and comfortable. These lipsticks are also extremely pigmented.
Cannes is a cool toned pink with a frost finish. It offers opaque coverage.
Fiji is a warmer, somewhat bold pink cream. It is offers an even more opaque finish than Cannes.
And what may be my favourite: Cannes and Fiji combined!
