One of Laneige’s most popular products is their Water Sleeping Mask ($30 CAD). This gel mask is like an refreshing drink of water for dehydrated skin thanks to highly concentrated ionized mineral water and ceramides. It features their Aromatic Sleepscent™ which is an orange flower, rose, and sandalwood fragrance that helps relax you in the evening. The mask also contains exfoliating apricot and chestnut extracts for brighter, fresher skin upon waking.

There is also the Laneige Firming Sleeping Mask ($39 CAD) if you would like some firming and tightening benefits in addition to hydration. The texture of the Firming Sleeping Mask is really cool. It’s a semi-solid memory form gel. It has a firm gel texture that feels almost lumpy when you take some from the jar as it holds it’s shape. Once the jar sits again for a few minutes the product smoothes back out in the jar.

The mask still melts into the skin as beautifully as the original Water Sleeping Mask. Natural elasticity is retained and the skin tightened thanks to their sleePOP™ technology featuring resilience-building peptides and hydrating tuberose. It also includes the aromatic sleepscent™ of rose, sandalwood, ylang ylang, and orange flower essential oils to help promote more restful sleep. The mask is packaged in a more luxe and heavyweight jar than the Water Sleeping Mask.

The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask ($24 CAD) is an absolutely beautiful lip balm. I have been using it all day, not just in the evenings. It is formulated with vitamin C and and antioxidant Berry Mix Complex™ blend of raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, and blueberry extracts, to nourish and gently exfoliate the lips while giving it it’s absolutely delicious sweet fragrance and flavor. The Laneige Moisture Wrap™ technology includes hyaluronic acid and minerals that form a protective film over the lips to lock in moisture and active ingredients. I have been just loving this stuff. I will never give up my holy grail lip balm, Lansinoh nipple cream, but in the evening I’ve been loving layering the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask underneath the Lansinoh for a powerhouse lip rejuvenating combo.

Now I have very dry and dehydrated skin so my favorite way to use the Laneige Sleeping Masks, both Water and Firming, is as a first step in my evening skincare routine as well as in the mornings when I first wake up. My skin immediately drinks these right up and I can immediately feel the difference. Then I can follow up with another moisturizer a little while later to seal in the hydration.
