The new Lancôme Miracle Air de Teint Perfecting Fluid Matte Glow Creator ($46 CAD) is a silky, fluid formula that feels weightless on the skin and offers subtle correction and coverage and a beautiful blurred, matte glow effect to the skin. If you found yourself loving the ultra light, sensual silky formula of the Giorgio Armani Maestro foundation, but found it accentuated dryness on your skin, then you are going to love this new offering from Lancome which offers a similar feel without but with a more flattering effect on drier skin.
Miracle Air de Teint is a blend of volatile and semi-volatile oils which give it that silky, sensual dry oil feel along with “Miracle Aerogel Particles” composed of 90% air that is 25 times lighter than traditional powders giving it the imperceptible blurring coverage that allows skin’s natural luminosity to radiate through.
As the formula is quite runny it comes with a dropper applicator. Somewhat messy but a necessity for such a fluid formulation.
The shade I received for testing is Shade 3, one of 12 shades available, and while it is much too dark for me you can see from the swatch below that even being too dark the transparent coverage and blurring effect still leaves the skin looking natural and in no way masked. Thanks to this transparent coverage it is incredible easy to find a match among the 12 shades offered.
If you are the kind of woman, or man even, that can’t stand the look and feel of makeup but still want to give your skin a more perfected finish with light, undetectable coverage than you are going to love the new Lancôme Miracle Air de Teint! It blurs imperfections and perfects skin with an optical effect rather than masking pigments. My skin is very dry so I can’t say how this will wear on drier skin types but I love how incredible natural this looks even when my skin is suffering from more flaky dryness.
