Lately I have been wearing a BB Cream most days. If I am not really up to anything “special” then I prefer the ease of just quickly throwing on a tinted moisturizer type product with a good level of sun protection so that my skin is protected and looks a little more even toned. I have tested several BB Cream products but it isn’t often that one makes it into my regular rotation. The new Lancome Bienfait Multi-Vital Teinte ($58 CND) has done just that because it meets my criteria of dewy coverage and SPF of at least 30.

The vitamin enriched moisturizing formula of the Lancome BB cream makes it perfect for my dry skin and leaves it feeling hydrated without exaggerating any dry areas I may have. I think this product is probably best suited to those with normal to dry skin as it does offer a lovely dewy finish. It has a decent amount of coverage for a BB cream and never settles into my lines and pores. It offers totally natural coverage and feels great. There are 4 shades available:
- 1 Natural
- 2 Sand
- 3 Bisque
- 4 Bronze
Shade 1 is, unfortunately, too dark for me. Luckily it is sheer enough that I can blend, blend, blend and it looks pretty good. This will be a great summer option for me but as my tiny amount of summer colour fades I fear I may have to put it away for the cooler seasons.
