I have heard great things about the Lancome Artliner but this is actually my first experience with them. The new shade, Azure, that is being released this May, couldn’t be a more beautiful introduction to the product.

Lancome Artliners are a liquid liner with a very fine, flexible sponge tip. The formula is very fluid and applies smoothly without tugging at the delicate eye area at all. I was also happy to say that I didn’t experience the tightening that I often experience with these types of liquid eyeliners.

I am not sure about the other shades in the lineup but Azure offers a fairly sheer amount of pigment with one swipe. If you want a full opaque line you will need to do some layering. It is very easy to get the line built up to an absolutely stunning, shimmering, rich, deep yet bright shade of blue.

Here is a peek of the the Lancome Artliner Precision Point Eyeliner in Azure ($37 CAD) in use from an upcoming look post.

The new shade Azure will be available at Lancome counters, and Lancome.ca, May 2013.
