I introduced you to the Lancôme Artliner 24H with my review of the shades Copper and Gold. The new Artliner 24H was released in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the original Lancôme Artliner. It is available in 10 shades and I am happy to be able to now show you 6 of the 10 available. The ten bold and vibrant shades offer 24 hour hold and ultra precise application. They are waterproof, smudge-proof, and transfer-proof. These are pretty tough to remove so if you want a look that will last and last the 24H version of the Artliner is for you. On top of all that the colours are out of this world. Let’s take a peek!
The above shots were missing the shade gold but I have included it in the swatches for you!
Now my eyes aren’t the best suited for flaunting liquid eyeliners. I have hooded eyes and not the smoothest lids around. These amazingly vibrant, pigmented, and impactful liners apply so opaquely and smoothly that it makes wearing them possible even on my not so perfect lids! I thought it would be fun to do a colourful look that shows off two of the most lively shades in the collection, Blue Royale and Turquoise.
I first prepped my lids with the Lancôme Aquatique Waterproof Eyeshadow Base in Nude ($29). It is a great way to even out the discolouration on your eyelids and prep your eyes for all day, fade-proof wear. I am loving this cream base. It reminds me of my beloved MAC Paint Pot in Painterly. Nude is like the perfect shade in between Painterly and Soft Ochre. For the liner I opted for a bold wing in the stunning shade Turquoise on the upper lashline. (FYI Turquoise will stain your skin. It is the only shade I experienced this with.) I did a very thin line on the lower lashline using Blue Royale that meets up with, and follows along the bottom of, the wing created with Turquoise. I then used a white eyeliner on the inner corner of my eye, lower waterline, and on the inner portion of my lower lash line. This brings the look together removing any redness so that the beauty of the bold Lancôme Artliner 24H Precision Liners can really shine. To finish off the look I used two coats of the Lancôme Hypnôse Star Mascara in Noir Midnight ($33 CDN). Noir Midnight is a deep charcoal shade.
You can see another Bold Doll Eyes Look demonstration using the shade Turquoise on the Lancome website.
