Today I have the pleasure of introducing you to some lipsticks from a brand called Kismet. Haven’t heard of Kismet Cosmetics? Kismet Cosmetics was founded in 2013 by makeup artist Caitlin Picou in Covington, La. All of their products are made in the USA.
New for Fall/Winter 2015 is the Kismet Succulent Collection Liquid Lipsticks ($22 US). They are cruelty-free, 100% vegan, creamy, intensely pigmented liquid lipsticks that contain vitamins C & E and are free of parabens, gluten and lanolin. There are four available shades:
- Elope (a nude)
- Flamingo (a vibrant pink “statement color”)
- On Point (a pink with orchid and nude undertones)
- Speakeasy (a classic red)
Shown are On Point and Elope.
These liquid lipsticks are very, very pigmented and creamy. They look amazing and have great wear times. Keep in mind these aren’t matte/longwear liquid lipsticks so they will transfer.
I also tested one of the Kismet Velvet Collection Semi-Matte Lipsticks in Orchid Haze ($16 US). This is such a beautiful vibrant orchid shade with a matte finish with very subtle shimmer. I love that their packaging has a clear window on the top of the lid to allow you to see the shade within.
I’m really impressed by the formulas of the Kismet lip products. Beautiful colours with amazing pigmentation and comfortable wear.
