The Kat Von D Summer 2015 Collection is all about liners! There are a collection of new Tattoo Precision Brow Pens ($23 CAD), Ink Liners ($23 CAD), Lightning Liners ($25 CAD) and a new Mad Max Brown shade of Kat’s iconic Tattoo Liner ($23 CAD).
Today I will be showing you four of the nine new Kat Von D Ink Liner as well as two of the new Kat Von D Lightning Liner.
I am so excited about these new Kat Von D Ink Liners. I love felt tip liquid liners but usually waterproof liquid liners have that latex rubbery texture once they dry that I can’t stand. They are waterproof yet if you rub them it peels off in chunks. Ick! Well these new Ink Liners are a lightweight fluid in pen that is incredibly waterproof and offers excellent pigment, all while being easy to work with.
- Nerdrum is a beautiful matte sea blue with opaque pigmentation.
- Baudelaire is a deep dark navy with excellent pigment.
- Woolf is a matte grey that has a bit sheerer formula but builds up nicely.
- Bosch is a gorgeous olive that again is a bit on the sheerer side but is easy to build up.
Other available shades are: Neruda (white), Hemingway (espresso) Dali (teal), Bukowski (dark green), and Nietzsche (periwinkle). All are named after Kat’s favourite authors.
Another new release is the Kat Von D Lightning Liners. These are true metallic pigments in a click pen with a brush tip. They offer sheer, layerable metallic pigment. You can sheer these out over the lid, build up on the lash line, or apply over a black liner for impressive impact. I prefer to wear these a little sheerer as they do pucker the skin a bit when drying if applied too thickly.
Shown are Gould (gold) and Amadeus (silver). Also available are Back (electric blue) and Ludwig (amber).
Are you a liquid liner girl? I would love to hear your thoughts on these new releases from Kat Von D Beauty.
