Inspired by the round shape of the iconic Guerlain Meteorites Pearls is the new, and uber cute, Guerlain Meteorites Bubble Blush ($48 CAD) for Spring 2014.
This blush is so darn cute! I love the bubble shape. The white plastic packaging is certainly not what I expect from Guerlain but I suppose it’s suits the more cutesy vibe of this product. It is very heavy on the delicious Violet candy scent that I adore. The shade Cherry is a very pigmented, and bright, cherry pink. I love these kinds of shades in a cream formula as they are very close to my natural flush. The formula is very lightweight and non sticky so it makes it easy to blend out so you don’t end up looking like you were just out in -30 degree Celsius weather getting frostbite on your cheeks. Oh wait… I was. The only issue I had with this formula is that for some reason it seemed like it was crafted by some mad scientist to ruthless seek out pores on my skin I didn’t even know existed. I don’t consider myself to have a pore issue. This travesty is of course averted when you are applying over a pore filling primer or foundation, but on bare skin watch out!
Are you wooed by the Bubble?
